The designation of Honorary Alumnus/a is granted to individuals who have brought honour to Laurier and its community of alumni, students, faculty, and staff through significant, and often selfless, contributions to Laurier, and/or the local, provincial, national or international communities. The individuals recognized as Honorary Alumni are inspirations to Laurier and its extended community.  The candidates cannot be regular alumni of Wilfrid Laurier University.

Please note that the deadline for all applications is Friday, February 12, 2010

1. Has brought honour to Laurier through contributions to Laurier, and/or the local, provincial, national, or international communities

2. Serves as an inspiration to Laurier and its community

3. Has positively contributed to Laurier's reputation
