Student Horizon Fund
The Student Horizon Fund provides financial assistance to students pursuing activities outside the classroom that enhance their educational experience. These activities can include competitions, international events or formal participation in conferences. The activities must occur while the student(s) are actively registered at the university.
In total, the balance in the Student Horizon Fund endowment is over $500,000. During the 2007/2008 academic year, the Student Horizon Fund was able to provide funding to 84 students allowing them to attend extra-curricular events. This special fund is endowed and applicants may apply individually or as a group. Applicants are restricted to one award per academic year and the amount of each award varies.
