The  Young Alumnus/a of the Year Award is given to recognize outstanding achievement by an alumnus/a of any WLU program and who is 30 years of age or under.

1.        proven success in: academia, entrepreneurship, citizenship OR philanthropy; 

2.        personal contribution to the betterment of society;

3.        is a source of pride for WLU alumni, students, faculty and staff;

4.        serves as an ambassador for WLU and the Laurier community at large
